- Your age should be at least 16 years so that you will be then eligible for a student
- pilot license, 17 years is for a Private Pilot License and 18 is for the commercial pilot license.
- You can also enroll directly in for the Private Pilot license once you clear the Class 12th and you are 17 years old. This will include the exams which are taken by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation which consist of theory papers on the aviation meteorology, air navigation, air regulation and technical aspects.
